ONLINE PERIOD IN DATA COLLECTION IN ERP - NO PROBLEM IF THERE IS A KEYPAD

Industrial Information Technology Consulting Industry Trade Inc. (ENFOTEK), which carries out ERP and Software Solutions and Software Development activities in DOKUZ Eylul University (DEU) Buca Tınaztepe Campus Technology Development Zone (DEPARK), is experiencing a sweet excitement. ENFOTEK will make a pilot application of KeyPad, which is a data collection device developed with local and original software and will provide convenience to the Ready-to-Wear industry. KeyPad, which is the joint work of ENFOTEK and Support Automation, will first be installed in Veritas Tekstil company in Denizli. The process, which started with 2 machines as a pre-test setup, will end with the completion of 10 machines. ENFOTEK, which will make a dealership agreement with an IT company after the installation, will also conclude the training issue.

THE PRODUCT OF 4 YEARS OF WORK

ENFOTEK General Manager Tuğrul Tamtürk, who gave information about KeyPad, which is the product of a 4-year study developed in the Windows IOT (Internet of Things) environment, said: "Our project started when Veritas Tekstil wanted to integrate EDS, the terminals that are connected to the machine but cannot carry data to any system." Stating that the KeyPad is easy to use in the field of textiles and will be useful in solving problems, Tamtürk said: "KeyPad, which has the data collection feature, is an industrial device with a weighing connection and can be connected to the company's network both wired and wirelessly. It has a longer life than a normal computer." Explaining the working principle of KeyPad, Tamtürk stated: "In Fabric Quality Control machines, the fabric is checked by passing through the illuminated panel. In this way, the quality control master can control the fabric on the illuminated panel. KeyPad automatically reads the quantity of the flowing fabric. When an error is observed in the fabric, the machine can be stopped and the error is detected. "It can be selected from the touch screen and recorded. While the fabric that has passed the inspection is wrapped around the ball, the weighing system is connected to the KeyPad system. And it produces a barcode defined on a fabric ball, containing the fabric properties. This label is attached to the fabric," he said.

EASE OF USE FROM THE TOUCH SCREEN

Stating that the control keys on the KeyPad allow the use of the machine from a single panel, Tuğrul Tamtürk continued as follows: "The user profile is determined by scanning the card of the person using the machine from the RFID reader section. In addition, the 10-inch touch screen facilitates the use. Thus, it receives the quality data of the fabric as well as the stock movement. You can also do it. You automatically create the waybills. All these studies provide real-time data sharing with ENFOTEK software EDS and MDS."
