THIS IS A TURKEY PROJECT

With the economic threat of Donald Trump, the United States of America (USA) President, against Turkey, the agenda in our country revolves around the dollar and economy. We published the first part of our news yesterday (08.10.2019) in which Enfotek General Manager Tuğrul Tamtürk talked about the projects that will pave the way for Turkey in economic terms. The second part of our news is as follows:

IT WILL INCREASE EMPLOYMENT UP TO 10 MILLION

Tuğrul Tamtürk, who said that the target of "300 billion dollars of export in 3 years" should not be regarded as only economically, stated: "An environment will be provided where 10 million people can get their rights, work humanely and provide satisfaction. By overcoming the economic crisis, it is necessary to say, 'I am here''. Tamtürk said: "We have to take precautions when the world is in crisis, we have to take action", and continued: "This is a Turkey Project. Happiness of people passes through the economy, fair earnings, and a fair earnings scale. For this, the industry must contain the industry know-how within itself. This is a trade secret. We must increase our trade secrets and know-how and drive internal transformations. We cannot provide the efficiency we want inside, and we move the production outside. We are moving our factories to the Balkans and North Africa. We teach them jobs in our area of expertise that we know. But this doesn't last forever. After a while, they may dismiss us by saying that we learned this business, we are closer to Europe. A country can find cheaper labor force. Another country may have export advantages...

INDUSTRIAL TRANSFORMATION IS ESSENTIAL FOR BRANDING

But we cannot increase our exports sufficiently as long as we do contract manufacturing and our only advantage is the knowledge of labor-based production that we have created in the last 40 years. When we create our designs, brands, create sales organizations, our exports go forward. The foreign customer is looking for cost-effectiveness, consistency, sustainability and quality. If there is unity in our industry, we will be the center of attraction. More value-added products come from design offices and are sold. Finally, it comes to branding. At the end of the industrial transformation process, there is also branding. Buying the brand from scratch is not the solution. It is necessary to create the infrastructure. If this cluster is positioned correctly, the ideal of bigger jobs, bigger earnings and a happier Turkey is not a dream.

THE PURPOSE IS TO REWARD THE ENTREPRENEUR

I say this based on our practices in the Technology Development Zone for more than 15 years and in the industry for nearly 30 years. We analyze the results we get. If Turkey becomes someone else's market, there is no choice but to do with less. When we become a know-how owner, designer and manufacturer, we sell the goods abroad, the money comes in. Then the whole economy will be relieved, and the small shopkeepers will also smile. We have to make the clustering system profitable. We cannot tell anyone that you think about the cluster and make less profit. This would not be possible even in a socialist regime. The aim is to reward the entrepreneur. If the entrepreneur receives the return of his investment, an example of an activist entrepreneur is formed as in the world. Our entrepreneur who invests in difficult, crisis conditions means he has accomplished a great job. We will be successful if we act with a total understanding by including the entrepreneur in this cluster, but also by including the domestic national technology, including the software.

IT MUST BE ACTED WITH COMMON BUSINESS MIND

In line with the goals set by the professional chambers, joint action should be taken. Competitors should act in a complementary way, producing different variations of a similar solution. The same work will be done with a common mind. If we accept this, it comes down to method determination. Who will do this? Turkey has all these accumulations. We have experience. If we try to hold our place, we will go backwards. We must break our shell. The economy cannot develop with the protectionist reflex. If there is a strong Turkey, no one can touch us. Let's not stop being strong. If we sacrifice our power, we will be worn out both economically and spiritually. A common mind and unity should be created in the industry, and social transformation should take place in parallel with this.”
