Enfotek, which is in contact with NGOs, professional chambers and other sectors as well as its business partners, will ensure the digital transformation of all processes of the Chamber of Textile Engineers (CTE). According to the agreement, Enfotek will assist CTE's Istanbul, Bursa, Izmir and Denizli branches to digitize all processes by using Cloud ERP Solutions. At the meeting held in Izmir Chamber of Textile Engineers, CTE Chairman of the Board Emre Fidan, CTE Board Member Assoc. Dr. Hüseyin Ata Karavana, CTE Board Secretary Member Ahmet Hulusi Dinçer, ETMO Board Treasurer Erkan Döner and Enfotek General Manager Tuğrul Tamtürk attended.

INTERNET SITE WILL ALSO BE RENEWED

Among the targets announced at the end of the meeting, it is planned to increase the efficiency and real-time work of professional chambers with ERP Solutions, to accelerate the internal communication of CTE and member services by switching to digital office environments. Within the scope of the agreement, the tmo.org.tr web page will also be modernized and become more interactive. By working integrated with the website and cloud systems, online membership transactions will be made easily. In 2019, Enfotek will provide trainings for CTE personnel and development studies will be carried out. The project is scheduled to come to life at the beginning of January 2020. Answering Enfotek's questions about the process, CTE Board Secretary Member Ahmet Hulusi Dinçer made the following statements:

Hello Mr. Ahmet. Can you briefly tell about yourself?

I'm Ahmet Hulusi Dincer. I graduated from Ege University Textile Engineering Department in 1992. In the private sector, I worked as an engineer and manager, generally in production. In the year I graduated, I became a member of the Chamber of Textile Engineers, which is our professional chamber, and took part in its various organs. In the 2018-2020 period, I am serving as the Secretary Member of the Chamber Board of Directors.

Could you briefly introduce the Chamber of Textile Engineers (CTE)?

The Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (UCTEA) was established in 1954 with Law No. 6235 amended by Law No. 7303 and Decrees No. 66 and 85. UCTEA is a professional organization with a legal entity, in the form of a public institution specified in Article 135 of the Constitution.

Chamber of Textile Engineers is one of the 24 Professional Chambers within the body of UCTEA. Each professional group came together and organized in order to be in solidarity, to be united and to be heard. Textile engineers and leather engineers are organized under CTE.

What is CTE's expectation from digital solutions?

In the current period, digitalization has become mandatory in all public and private institutions. In order to keep up with the pace of technology and life, we aim to digitize our operations and paperwork by securing the personal information of our members, within the framework of our regulations.

What kind of projects and activities does CTE have?

As the Chamber, we work in fields such as symposium, training, information sharing among members, training engineers suitable for the progress of the industry, solving the problems of our colleagues and improving working conditions in line with the needs of our industry and colleagues.

How did you decide to agree with Enfotek on digital solutions?

Enfotek carries out extensive and specialized studies especially on the digitalization of the textile industry. It applies an approach that includes subject-specific details, not general solutions. The fact that Mr. Tuğrul is our chamber member colleague enabled us to easily explain our sensitivities and priorities. We conducted a research among software companies, and we decided to work with Enfotek, as we care about developing the whole process in a way befitting an engineer's room, as well as digitalization.
