Customer Relations Manager and EDS Project Manager Burcu Küçükkaya from Öztekstil in Bursa exports women’s wear and girl’s wear to 6 countries answer the questions of Enfotek. Küçükkaya stated that the strongest aspect of EDS is its flexible structure and said, “it is possible to implement EDS according to the company’s structure when the system is implemented to any firm.” Additionally, Burcu Küçükkaya highlighted that monitoring all processes such as cost, sample, manufacturing, warehouse management and accounting on EDS is one of the strengths of the system.

Hello, can you please introduce yourself?

Hello, I am Burcu Küçükkaya. I graduated from Ege University, Department of Textile Engineering in 2006. I have been working as Customer Relations Manager in Öztekstil for 6.5 years. In addition to this position, I undertake the task of EDS project-process management for the past 2 years.

Can you please inform us about your firm?

Öztekstil was founded in Bursa in 1995. Today, it is a strong exporter firm with approximately 380 employees in women’s wear and girl’s wear. We manufacture 1.5 million pieces per month on average with a wide product range. While Spain, Germany and the UK are among the strongest countries where we export our products, Öztekstil is a strategic manufacturer for 14 brands in 6 countries.

How was Öztekstil introduced with EDS?

At Öztekstil, we adopted the end-to-end operation principle. In line with this principle, we were looking for a solution that could match the firm’s culture, operations and flexibility. And we found EDS in 2020.

How would you assess your EDS experience?

Change is hard but I believe that Enfotek EDS has the organization and planning structure that can manage this change process the easiest way among ERP solutions.

What are the strengths of EDS?

I definitely believe that the strongest side is the flexibility of the system. Because it is possible to implement the plan suitable for the company’s structure when EDS is installed and implemented. In addition to that, monitoring all processes such as costs, samples, manufacturing, warehouse management and accounting on a single program is as important as flexibility.

What is the biggest benefit EDS provided to Öztekstil?

With EDS, we got a common platform and language in which we can include all our customers and processes in our firm. It is a highly valuable result for this volume of customers and product range.

What can you say about Enfotek consultancy services?

I believe that managing the process by an experienced and expert team in the textile and ready-to-wear sector brings a huge advantage.
